This project was built around people — not products.

From the beginning, the idea was to portray a series of distinctive entrepreneurs and to understand how they navigate their everyday business realities. American Express was not meant to dominate the narrative, but to exist within it — as a quiet, functional presence that supports decisions, enables flexibility, and creates stability in moments that often demand both.

My role as a cinematographer was to translate that balance into images.

This campaign is ultimately about trust.

Not just in a brand, but in the people behind the businesses — their instincts, their risks, their resilience. American Express becomes part of that ecosystem, embedded in everyday decisions rather than placed above them.

The goal was never to create honest pictures.
